It's time for a celebration! I want to invite everyone to the 75th Anniversary of the Western New York Safety Conference. Through the years, the Board of Directors and everyone involved have put forth hard work and dedication to ensure that all attendees get quality education and training in the field of safety and health.

All of us on the Board of Directors know that when it comes to making sure our workplaces remain safe, we as safety professionals have to come up with new ideas and try new training tactics or develop different programs to achieve zero injuries and illnesses. As employees who work at these facilities or sites, we also need to understand why these initiatives take place. Change is sometimes what we need to do in a society to make sure our message is understood and our goals are attained.

So I welcome all of you to CHANGE: new dates, new venue and a new look for this diamond anniversary conference with a theme of "Safety and Health, A Winning Pair" being held at the Events Center in the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel.

The conference this year will feature two-track educational sessions for general industry and construction industry for the first day. The second day will feature combined sessions relevant to all persons interested in safety and health along with interactive presentations during the vendor expo. As always, we will offer OSHA 10-hour general industry and construction industry courses with rates that cannot be matched anywhere else.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who supports and has supported the WNYSC for the past 75 years and hope that we continue to strive to meet our goals in the coming years.
