Lora Cavuoto, PhD, CPE

Explore new intervention strategies for workers who experience fatigue-related injuries in the workplace.

 

Lora is a University at Buffalo Professor of Industrial and System Engineering and Director of UB’s Ergonomics and Biomechanics Lab.  Her research topics include physical ergonomics, occupational safety and health, human factors in healthcare and surgeon ergonomics. She also received ASSP’s 2022 Outstanding Safety Educator and was named to the 2024 group of Rising Stars of Safety, an award given by The National Safety Council.
